Warranties

1. Warranty Coverage

‍Patriot Memory warrants to the original end-user customer that its products, including DRAM memory modules, Solid State Drives (SSD), and Flash storage devices(collectively referred to as "Product"), are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the applicable warranty period defined below. This warranty is not transferable.

If a Product is confirmed to be defective under the terms of this warranty after Patriot Memory's physical inspection and testing, Patriot Memory will, at its sole option:

Please note that repaired or replacement products may be provided in bulk or non-retail packaging ("bare drive/module").

1. Repair the Product.
2. Replace the Product with a new or refurbished product of equal or functional equivalent.
3. Refund the current market value of the Product (not to exceed the original purchase price).

Repaired or replacement products are covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period of the original Product. They do not begin a new warranty period from the date of repair or replacement.

2. Warranty Periods‍

The warranty period varies depending on the product type. The warranty period begins on the date of original purchase.

A. DRAM Modules – Limited Lifetime Warranty

Patriot Memory DRAM modules are generally covered by a Lifetime Warranty.

• Definition of Limited Lifetime Warranty: The warranty is valid for the life of the Product, which is defined as the normal time expectancy for the use of products in the industry. It does not refer to the lifetime of the original purchaser.

B. SSD and Flash Storage Products - Limited Term Warranty

Patriot Memory, SSDs and Flash storage products are covered by specific warranty periods (e.g., 2-years, 3-year, 5-year, please refer product warranty table below).

• SSD Endurance Limit (TBW): For Solid State Drives (SSD), the warranty period expires at the earlier of: (i) the stated time period from the date of purchase, or (ii) when the SSD's total bytes written (TBW) exceeds the published endurance threshold for that specific model, as indicated in the product's datasheet or SMART data.

C. Warranty Period Table

Please refer to the table below for the specific warranty durations applicable to different Patriot Memory product lines.‍

D. Discontinued(EOL) Products: If a Product has been discontinued (End of Life) and is no longer manufactured by Patriot Memory, and an exact replacement is not available, Patriot Memory reserves the right to replace it with a product of equivalent value and similar function.‍

3. Exclusions and Limitations

This warranty does not cover damage, defects, or failures resulting from causes outside of normal use, including but not limited to:

• Label Integrity (Important): Product missing, damaged, detached, or altered serial number labels, warranty stickers, or heat spreaders.

• Improper Environment & Handling: Accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, improper installation or testing, or mishandling during shipping.

• Electrical Stress & Mining: Insufficient or excessive electrical supply (including damage caused by overclocking or overvolting beyond published specifications), static electricity discharge (ESD), or electrical surges. For SSDs, this includes damage caused by excessive workloads such as cryptocurrency mining or data farming.

• Physical Damage & Modification: Abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions, unauthorized disassembly, repair, or physical modification to the Product.

• Unauthorized Source: Products purchased from unauthorized resellers.

Additional Important Disclaimers:

• Compatibility: Patriot Memory does not guarantee that the Product will be compatible with every system or configuration. It is the user's responsibility to verify compatibility before purchase.

• Data Loss: Under no circumstances shall Patriot Memory be liable for any loss of data or data recovery costs associated with the failure of the Product. Patriot is not responsible for any data lost or recover procedure of the flash products, customer will need to care about data backup themselves.

4. Warranty Claim Procedures

To obtain warranty service, end-users should generally contact the local authorized reseller where the Product was originally purchased. If service is not available through the reseller, contact Patriot Memory Technical Support.

• Proof of Purchase: To apply for RMA service, a valid purchase invoice must be provided to the local authorized reseller. If returning directly to Patriot, a copy must be included.

• RMA Number Required: Returns directly to Patriot will not be accepted without a valid RMA number clearly visible on the outside of the package.

• Shipping: Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping and insurance when returning the Product to Patriot. Patriot will cover the cost of shipping the replacement product back to the customer (standard shipping).

• Exception for Specific Regions: Patriot will comply with local regulations regarding shipping costs in jurisdictions where required by law (e.g., certain EU countries for confirmed warranty claims).

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE FOREGOING IS THE COMPLETE WARRANTY FOR PATRIOT PRODUCTS AND SUPERSEDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES. PATRIOT MEMORY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES,INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFIT, REVENUE, BUSINESS DATA, OR COSTS OF REPLACING EQUIPMENT, ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT.

6. Consumer Rights and Local Laws

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. Consumers in certain jurisdictions (including the European Union, Australia, and others) may have additional statutory rights under applicable national legislation governing the sale of consumer goods. These rights are not affected by this warranty clause. If any provision here is found invalid under local law, it will be deemed severed, with remaining provisions in full force.
