Fremont, CA – May 12, 2023 – The European Hardware Association has announced that Patriot Memory, a leading manufacturer of high-performance enthusiast memory modules, SSDs, flash storage and gaming peripherals, has received an official nomination for “Best System Memory Series” at the 2023 European Hardware Awards for their Viper Xtreme 5 performance memory series. This nomination will mark Patriot Memory’s first-ever nomination by the European Hardware Association.
The Viper Xtreme 5 performance memory will compete among the following shortlisted 2023 nominees for “Best System Memory Series”:

The 9th annual European Hardware Awards will announce their winners on May 29, 2023, at the W Hotel in Taipei, Taiwan.
Set to release worldwide in May 2023 from Patriot Memory’s gaming line, the record-setting Viper Xtreme 5 aims to take system performance to a new level made for extreme overclockers and enthusiast tinkerers alike. With speeds of up to 8000MHz, the Xtreme 5 is Patriot Memory and Viper Gaming’s fastest DRAM ever produced.
First showcased at CES in January 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Viper Xtreme 5 was featured in overclocker Fugger’s system that earned 2nd and 3rd place in the Intel XTU 2.0 Hall of Fame on January 7, 2023. Additionally, on January 15, 2023, the Viper Xtreme 5 was featured in Fugger’s system which earned 1st place and a global world record for the PCMark Extended benchmark.
