• How do I update the firmware to the AERO?
  
  How to update the AERO-
  
  Download the firmware from our website here: http://www.patriotmemory.com/support/drivers-downloadsp.jsp
  
  Unzip the file and take the file PAXX_X.X.X.X.bin and put it into the root folder of your Gauntlet Node HDD/SSD (You can do this by going through the USB)
  
  If you are using a PC:
  
  Open any browser and type in “10.10.10.254”
  While you are in the GUI, select “Setup”
  Select “Update Software”
  Under “SDA…,” your folder “Firmware” should be selectable
  
  If you are using a tablet:
  
  Make sure you are connected to the AERO wirelessly
  Open the application
  Select “Menu” and then “Settings”
  Select “Update Software”
  Under “SDA…,” your folder “Firmware” should be selectable.

• How can I connect my device to the AERO wireless AND connect to my wireless internet at the same time?
  

  Through Android/Ios Device:
  
  1) Open the Patriot Connect Application.
  
   
  
  2) Hit 'Menu' on the bottom right.
  
   
  
  3) Hit 'Settings'.
  
   
  
  4) Select Wi-Fi Networks and locate your desired SSID and enter password (if necessary).
  
   
  
  Through Computer:
  
   
  
  1) Type in the AERO's IP Address in your browser:
  
  10.10.10.254.
  
   
  
  2) Look under setup and then Network Connections.
  
   
  
  3) Select Wi-Fi Networks and locate your desired SSID and enter password (if necessary).
  
   
  
  You should now be connected to your AERO and Wireless Network for Internet Access.

• Can I change the default username / password on the AERO? 
  

  Yes this is achievable through the Patriot Connect App or the Browser GUI(on windows and Mac).

• Can I change SSID visibility on the AERO? 
  

  No, the SSID is visible at all time.

• Can I change SSID name on the AERO?
  

  Yes this is achievable through the Patriot Connect App or the Browser GUI(on windows and Mac).

• Can I set SSID password & encryption on the AERO?
  

  Yes this is achievable through the Patriot Connect App or the Browser GUI(on windows and Mac).

• How do I know when the battery is charged for my AERO?
  

  If the battery indicator is lit red, the unit is charging. Green will indicate that the charge is complete.

• How do I access the AERO through my computer?
  
  
  When wirelessly connected, open a start/run command (Windows) or locate the Finder (Mac) and type the following IP:
  • 10.10.10.254
  • When prompted for a username and password, use 'admin and 'admin'.

• On the AERO, can I access the USB and be connected to Wifi at the same time?
  

  No, you cannot. Because of the risk of overhating, the AERO has built-in hardware protection that prevents simulataneous access of the USB port AND Wireless connection simultaneously.

• I've connected located the AERO through my wifi connection. How do I access the unit?
  

  You'll need to download and install the Patriot Connect Application from the Google Play store:

  ...or if connecting via computer, use the IP: 10.10.10.254. For access to the internal drive contents, create a map to the folders.
