So this update doesn't support the 64gig model?

Just FYI, I compared the pair of .enc files between the 128GB and 256GB downloads and they appear identical according to BeyondCompare. This doesn't necessarily mean much of anything, or that one of these downloads would work for the 64GB, but it does answer a question I had and seems to be a piece of the m28 puzzle. It could very well be that 64GB has different FW because the hardware may be different. Again, just FYI...

Just did a full file compare. They are the same firmware images that are on the Samsung site. Might be a different loader... Still working fine with the Samsung one.

Default What boot image???

Ok, I guess I feel stupid, I CAN NOT get the right boot image to update this thing. Is it DOS 6.22, XP? FAT? FAT32? Can anyone describe the boot USB they used to run this?

What happens is, it boots, runs, scans, finds the SSD, then I ask it to update this SSD (answer "y"), then it warns that all data will be lost, but it's locked up, won't accept any key input, have to do a hard-reset. So I can't answer "y" to the second question, it's just locked up there....

Any help?

I updated my drive, which had the 180q1 firmware and it worked fine. It now reports 190q1. I wish I knew what the difference is between 190q1 and 19Cq1?? Also the flash utility will not work on a mac because there is no bios on a mac and the update utility uses some ancient code that requires an A20 handler that can only be had from a bios I guess. Had to yank the drive out of my macbook pro and put it an PC to get it to work.
