    I just purchased and received a 8GB Patriot Xporter XT thumb drive. The drivers were installed and the device shows up in My Computer but I cannot format it or access it. Email: MOD EDIT

    Please, send me tool for low level format. My drive first got problems to be read and after format attempt with windows tools got write protected.

    Ridiculous that you have to jump through these hoops -- this thread has been open for well over 3 years, so clearly this is a common problem. Just post the damn tool already.

    In the meantime, send it to me at MOD EDIT

    (I already e-mailed support directly but no one replied.)
