These are the same apps you tried to install when you first setup the Alpine or different? Can you please get me the links of these APK files?

I do not know which apk you tried from the indicated links but I can confirm that videoplayer.apk does install ok over here as long as you have the proper one for the firmware you are using (stock, Matrix). Can you be more specific and tell us of a specific apk available in those links that causes a parse error. There are many reasons why an apk fails to install on the PBO Alpine; firmware corruption, apk does not support this platform (android 2.2), application signed with a debug key etc........ Things are even worst with the PBO Alpine since not all the standard android libraries that are normally available on a standard Android device are available on the PBO Alpine.

All that being said if some of those apk's installed when you first got your PBO Alpine; now causes parse error then it must be a firmware corruption and the first thing you should try is what I mentioned at the beggining of this post (Reflash, Restore factory default). Hopefully this will resolve your parsing error.

    Good Luck.
