    hello
    today i bought Patriot Ram Memory
    PSD34G13332S
    PS000792
    4gb PC-3 10600 CL9
    PS792-068113

    and i put it on my Lap Top Dell Inspiron 15r(n5110) series
    after i did this i turn my lap top on and i face real problem after 3 days my PC start to re-start without blue screens or after posting i check the power supply its 90W and i also check my motherboard manufacturer (DELL INC.) in that case i check how much maximum ram can be stored on the lap top it shows 15.98 gb (16gb) Typically it blinks two to three times and loads windows, but with the new memory it seems to freeze here (cursor stops blinking) but BIOS recognize the ram memory that i put, it shows that i have installed 2x4gb= 8gb i run x64 win7 ultimate i try changing the first slot memory which is from the lap top ( the original one ) and that one that i bought i put it on the first slot then try to the second still the same problem sometimes it freeze on the starting and only shows black screen nothing more i dont know what is the problem can some one help me tnx for your time and hope you will understand me sry for my bad english

    Hello,

    Can you please try flashing the laptop to the latest bios? Please also make sure that you have the latest Windows updates and drivers as well.
    Let me know if this helps.

    Furthermore, you can run a memory test software to see if the memory is defective.
    Memtest can be found here: http://www.memtest.org/

    3-4 loops should be fine.

    yes i update the system to the latest bios, i run the memtest everything it's perfect no problems.
    i notice when i remove this memory (patriot memory) and i let the one original which is from the laptop since buying i dont face this problem
    and when i put it again togheter with the original one from the laptop and this one i face this problem
    i try to run PC only on patriot memory i remove the original one i dont face this problem
    mby they don't like each other

    Hello,

    In some cases, mismatching memory of different programs can cause stability issues.

    Can you make sure you have the latest drivers updates and Windows Updates as well?

    yes everything is up to date to the latest drivers
    as i said mby the original one memory and the petriot memory don't like each other ?

    Yes, that is a possibility since the memory most likely has different programming.
    Have you tried different orientations?

    Ie; Original stick in slot 1, Patriot in slot 2... Patriot in slot 1, original in slot 2?

    What is the speed rating of your original memory?

    yes i try
    1333MHz is the speed of my original memory
    now i am going to buy 1 more patriot memory and i will remove my original one and i will put togheter 2 patriots memories to see if they work togheter

    Yes let me know how that goes. At this point, it seems like an incompatibility in programming.

    yes everything is working fine
    both patriot memory work fine togheter
