Default Inferno 60GB slow on Mac Pro

My 60GB Inferno has had a speed slump lately. Getting less than 70MBs write and 170MBs read.
The screen is from a disk tester that uses incompressable data.
Is there anything I can do to refresh my SSD?

    Hello syd,

How much of your drive is full? We generally don't recommend filling it up more than 60 percent for optimal performance. Try letting the drive idle overnight so that garbage collection kicks in.

Also for Mac platforms, you can use 3rd-party software like Trim Enabler 2.0 to enable TRIM:

20GB out of 60 used. And have left the drive on for several days with the TRIM enabler on.
    Still no joy.
Is there any method of "reconditioning" the drive?

    Hello syd,

For now I would recommend the Garbage Collection technique via overnight idle. See if the performance will gradually return to normal.

how long should I give this option?
I would prefer to complete a RMA - it's clearly pointless having a SSD that's slower than a normal hard drive.
