P5QC and PSD38G 8GB 1333

I've just installed my new ram, but my computer doenst startup at all, no beeps and just the main black screen, theres any configuration that i need to do? is there any known issue with the P5QC??

Can you please give me the full Patriot Part Number? Are these 8GB sticks or 8GB kits (2x4gb)?

Please note that the Asus P5Q series only supports 4GB modules.

If you have other working ram, can you plug them in and make sure to have the latest bios flashed?

Hello, i've exchanged my 8gb ram for 2x4gb and it's working fine now, surely it was a compatibility problem! thanks for the reply any ways!
