PXQ316G1600LLQK on Asus SABERTOOTH X58 freezez system

Ok got 4x4GB of PXQ316G1600LLQK that im useing on an Asus SABERTOOTH X58 mainboard, whenever i load up alot of stuff that uses alot of memorey my system completly locks up and screen freezes, got to manuly reboot system to get back up. Put back my old ram i had only 8gb is able to run same task togh abit delayed due to lack of ram but dose not crash at all. Did i buy the wrong ram, like dosnt the ram i got preform wel on the x58 chipset?

What speeds are you running the ram at? Please note that because our PXQ series is designed for Intel 6 and 7 series, that the rated speeds may not correlate. What this means is that you may have to settle for lower latency and/or frequency. Ie; 1600 9-9-9, 1333 7-7-7, 8-8-8.

To further troubleshoot the memory, can you try testing each stick on each slot with memtest at default?
