    Default Volume Level

Yellow all, I have a Patriot HBO. The only thing I use it for is watching movies, mostly MKV movies. The picture is great. One problem I have is when I play this movies on my TV (60" plasma w/Denon receiver) , I have to turn the volume way up on the receiver to hear it good. On the computer using VLC, the volume seems fine. Is there a setting in in the PBO that I need to set or is there a easy to use software program that I can use to increase the volume of my mkv movies? thank you for your time!
Btw, media info says that the audio stream is DTS. What about it?

I assume you have the PBO's volume (via its remote control) set to max? Also, some receivers allow for different volume levels through specific inputs - if yours has that, then maybe the input for the PBO is set too low.
