Hi folks,

I am really sorry if this question may sound too basic for you experts...

I have a Toshiba Satellite M645-S4070 notebook that came with 4GB DDR3 memory. I have installed HWiNFO on my computer and it says the two current modules are DDR3 PC3-10600 manufactured by Samsung (Part Number: M471B5773CHS-CH9). But it indicates my memory modules are working at 533MHz (Timing 7-7-7-20) although they support higher frequency.

I now want to expand total RAM memory to 8GB and I have just ordered two Patriot Modules (PSD34G13332S), which are DDR3 PC3-10600 as well. But looking for confirmation I found out all sellers sell DDR3 PC3-8500 for my notebook.

My question is if I can safely install those two PSD34G13332S Patriot modules; if they will operate at 533MHz (7-7-7-20) as my current modules does. No other modules will be installed together with them (I will replace all current ones).

My processor is an Intel iCore5-460M and my Chipset is an Intel HM55. Motherboard is TOSHIBA NBQAA.

Thanks a lot in advance for any help!

Best regards,
Andre
