    Default Pyro SE SSD Issues

A few days ago, my computer had its first freeze, and upon reboot, BIOS could not find the SSD. Upon waiting a few hours, BIOS magically found the SSD again and booted normally, however, since then the issue has persisted.

Progressively the issue has gotten worse, today, I updated the firmware on the SSD but since then it has crashed and I haven't been able to update the drivers on the motherboard's SATA ports as a friend of mine suggested to do. (Motherboard is a GIGABYTE Z68MA-D2H-B3.)

If anyone could give me some guidance on where to go next to troubleshoot and/or fix this issue that would be sooo awesome!

Secure erase the drive ASAP and hope for the best. Don't bother trying to image the drive if you haven't done so yet, just try and copy your most important files.

Reinstall windows and see if your issues persist. If they do, you will likely be required to RMA the drive.

If you are lucky, the drive just has some corrupt metadata and doing a secure erase can reset it.

Edit: This applies if you start getting F4 BSOD screens on a system that was previously stable, and swapping to a hard drive install corrects it. There are plenty of things that may cause BSODs, and secure erasing your SSD will probably not help any of those other things.
