What model drive did you purchase?

Can you also run a benchmark with ATTO?

    That definitely is slow.

What is the make and model of your motherboard?

Can you please apply the latest usb/chipset drivers?

Let me go ahead and send you a format tool to reset the drive. Let me know if this helps as well.

That is damn slow. USB 3 should run propperly. Try it on a normal USb 2.0 Port. Some Mobo are buggy with USb 3.0 yet. I experience trouble as well. Tried it on several systems??

Actually ran at almost the same speed on the 2.0 port. Went to ASUS site downloaded and installed updated bios and 3.0 drivers, formatted flash drive NTFS and tried it on two different computers...couldn't get it to work...returned it to merchant where i bought and got refund...don't have time to try and figure it out...thanks for everyone's help but i don't think i'll buy anymore Patriot drives...
