    Default Asus M4A87TD/USB3 + PSD38G1600KH

    Real issues. Keeps crashing (locks up or shuts down). Not even trying to run at 1600 or overclock. Everything in Bios set to auto. Red MemOk! light flashes on mb. Reset using MemOk! button, or entering Bios and rechecking all mem features to auto. May need to manually enter timings, etc. Advice? 1T or 2T? Again, 1600 not as important. Just want my 8 (2x4) GB to be stable.

    Hello,

    Can you please make sure you have the latest BIOS flashed?

    The memory should be plug n play, so it should work at default.

    To further troubleshoot the memory, can you try testing the memory at default with memtest?

    3-4 Loops should be fine. Please let me know if you find any errors.
