Default UI / function question - time remain / elapsed indicator?

    hi,

cant figure out a way to show this info, but when you fast-forward, rewind or just during normal play, is there a way to show time remain or elapsed info?

Also, in the normal UI when you viewing your video files, many times the names are too long in the normal view, is there a way to change that to see the full name of the video files?

With the stock firmware the only way that you can display the time remaining / show info is by using the PBO Core (Big remote) and pressing the "slow" red button. Connecting a keyboard to the PBO will also give you that capability and more put I can not remember which keys on the keyboard does what.

With the Matrix firmware you can press the right arrow key on the original remote to display the time remaining / file info. Once this information is displayed pressing the right arrow key again makes the movie skip forward by a few minutes.

Hope this helps; hopefully a new and improved matrix firmware will be release soon that is more appropriate then the current one for the masses.

    Cheers !!!

    sorry,

but is the matrix firmware that you mentioned the one in beta? Or is that the one that I was able to download which addressed the MP4 playback issue?

    Hello,

Matrix is the version that is (actually) in it's Alpha version, the downloadable version on our website and in mass production is our stock firmware.
