Default PXD38G1866ELK not running at 1866

I'm using an AMD FX6100 and I can only run the ram at 1600.
Is it possible I need to more than 1.65v to the ram?
    I have an ASRock 970 Extreme3 motherboard.

    Hello,

Make sure that you have the latest BIOS.

Yes, you can actually pump up the voltage to 1.70-1.85v.

Try increasing the trfc to 300ns or higher.

Please keep in mind that because the memory was tested on the P67 that 1866 might not work.
Please see here for more details:

    Thanks.
    Stable 1600 is good enough.
