Default How to set up the ims

based on feature list in alpine specs, it support IMS, I wonder how can I setup this? likes like most of apks are running so slow on alpine .... a boot up will take more than 90 seconds...

in the old PBO core, we can telnet and modify the rss....

    anyone knows?

You need to run the matrix firmware which have an rss feed app pre-installed or install an rss feed reader app. I recommend RSS demon; it works pretty good but you will need a wireless dongle to pull all the feeds; it does not work using the Ethernet connector.

    Cheers !!!

I am afraid that I will have to get back to you on that one since RSS daemon is not installed currently on my PBO. If memory serves if you select a RSS feed using the web browser it will ask you if you want to use RSS daemon to open it. Once you select to open using RSS daemon you will find yourself at the RSS Daemon "add feed" menu and Rss feed can be saved. I think that you can also use the menu button on the remote when RSS daemon is open to get to this app option. One of those options is to add feeds .... well I think. The process of entering the feed manually can be quite tedious I suggest you connect a keyboard/mouse to the PBO or else you will get frustated.

If your PBO Alpine is rooted you can also look in the /data/data/"RSS Deamon apps???"/databases/ and save the database you find there on USB stick or something and then you can change that database using your computer and a sqlite database client software. This database contains the RSS feeds; just add your own following the same format. After that copy your edited database back where you copied it from and the newly edited database will be use by the app.

Good luck; let me know if I managed to totally confuse you. I writing this from memory; I will try to install later so that my step can be made a little clearer.

    Good luck.
