Default New memory might be crashing windows OS installation?

    [SOLVED!!]

This is the ram I purchased:
    http://patriotmemory.com/products/de...id=1046&type=1

Here are the rest of my system specs:
    • CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
    • CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus 76.8 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
    • Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
    • Memory: Patriot Extreme Performance 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
    • Solid State Drive: Crucial M4 128GB 2.5" Solid State Disk
    • Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
    • Video Card: VisionTek Radeon HD 7870 2GB Video Card
    • Case: Cooler Master HAF 922 ATX Mid Tower Case
    • Power Supply: Corsair 650W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply
    • CD Drive: Samsung Super-WriteMaster SH-222AL w/ LightScribe (USED)

    The issue:
Anytime I try to install Windows 7 Home Premium, it either freezes, or throws an error(different every time) and then bluescreens...

    Potential causes - My response
    1. Faulty Ram - I don't think so, because it works in other computers, and I ran memory tests.
    2. Faulty Mobo - Again, I don't think so. Unless maybe just the ram slots are faulty?
    3. Incorrectly installed parts - this is possible, but hopefully not probable.
    4. Faulty Windows Install - Not possible, I have tried USB boots, and 2 different disks(that have both worked before).
    5. Ram is incompatible with Mobo - this is a possibility, anyone know for sure?
    6. Other parts are incompatible that conflict with OS installation - again, possible, but I had my build checked by a lot of people...

Anything else I am missing??? I need help!

    EDIT1:
Ran Memtest86 v4.20 (or rather, running)
It is reporting that every address is failing. This doesn't necessarily mean that the ram is faulty, but ensures me that this is the issue.

    EDIT2:
Discovered one stick of ram was entirely faulty, while the other was in perfect condition. I installed the OS just fine with only one stick of ram inserted.
