Thumbs up Pyro SE Firmware v502 Feedback+Link to Gigabyte 990FX AMD SATA AHCi v3.0.C.5 RC-Bios

The new GBT 990FX Series Bios incl. the new AMD SATA AHCi ROM v3.0.C.5 will speed up your Patriot SSD to the optimum. I have Test and Reviewed, Links and Infos inside this Post.
The problem is the Taiwan/Worldwide GBT Bios´es use the old bugy 2009 AMD AHCi ROM build v3.07, Bugs: massive Bootdelay and NO support for the SB900 proof it in the AMD changelog (AHCi)(Read the AMD Changelog for detailed information/bugs)
I hope so, i can Help all the Users that have a Patriot SSD on a Gigabyte Mainboard, that have a 990FX Series GBT Boards and a big THX for the nice support from Mister Alvarez (Patriot Tech), best regards Sir!

    The new firmware v502
It works very Stable, abselutly no Problems so far.
The access times are now Great. the Firmware v332 was in this discipline lame like a Snail, but now the FW v5.02 are very very better.
R/W Times goes down from 0,500ms to 0,150ms! The other Transfers (MB/s) are better too! (ASSD Bench, no ATTO crap)
So i can only say positive over this new Patriot FW.

Now to the addressed extra the Gigabyte Preview RC Bios´es and Informations
Gigabyte made some new AMD SATA AHCi ROMs/Bios for the 990FX Series. (GBT original RC-Bios, NO MODS!)

Newbie here, I got the Pyro SE 120gb with 332ABBF0. Is the 5.0.2 destructive? or will it keep my data when I update

    Hello,

5.0.2 is non-destructive. It should not affect your data.

However, we always highly recommend backing up your data regardless.
