Smile Super performance from Wildfire 240 on x79 Motherboard

I would like to say that the Patriot Wild Fire 240 is a great product, I did not have the right motherboad at first and was no so happy about its performance.

I just upgraded from x58 to x79 and I finally get the advertised speed and performance out of my Wide fire 240. This ssd rocks, it is very stable and have no problems at all.

I do not use the drive in raid but have tried all the drivers available. I had performance drop on the intel newest RSTE driver then I tried both Intel inf 9.3.0.1019 and then 9.3.0.1020. The 1020 inf is listed on intel site for z77 chipset but it works great on my x79 MB.
My drives show as ATA in device manager and the Patriot SSD firmware update utility works great. I did not have any problems with the 3.3.2 firmware but i wanted to try the 5.0.1 update to see if ATTO seeds were better. After firmware update to 5.0.1 ATTO showed a slight decrease in 4k and 16 k read performance and a slight overall max speeds on both read and write did increase to 520 write and 560 read.
Great job by you guys on the Wildfire I am a very happy customer.
    Thanks guys
