Akira has now ported the Chinese IMS directly into the AC Ryan PV73100.7.4.4.r5440 firmware. It is in S format , so it requires bootcode 18 or above.

You can choose "English" at initial setting.

Is it normal that after update, the version info is still the 5440 in 2011?
How can I tell is is already patched?

To check a file: /usr/local/etc/dvdplayer/tag_20120501
If existed, it is already patched.

Sorry for my stupid question, but what is Chinese IMS and Web2.9? Chinese IMS is a collection of some media portals, just like the existing in ARCyan? And what is Web2.9 and how to use it? I couldn't find any demo or tutorial.
