Memory showing wrong Voltage
Hello,
I am AMD Performance memory ( AP34G1608U1K ), great memory as well, the only problem i am having is that the voltage seems wrong.
Item is supposed to run on 1.65V, but bios and CPU-z is showing 1.50v and the timings seem wrong 9-9-9-28, I'm still not too clued up on ram, please be gentle.
Anybody able to advise me how to correct this, cause i feel i am not getting the full potential from this lovely ram
Thanks

Should have listed my system specs
ASUS M5a97 pro
Geforce GTX 460
Jeantech 700w PSU
AMd Performance ram 2x2gb 1600
AMD FX-6100
This is my First build so really need as much knowledge and help as possible.

Hello,
CPU-Z will pick up the voltage (and timings) that the memory is programmed to boot to. In which case, the memory will boot to 1.50v at relaxed timings to avoid any boot issues. To take advantage of the rated timings you can make the changes in the bios.
Here is a screenshot you can use as reference.

You can change the clock speed to DDR-1600, cas 8, trcd 9, trp 8, tras 27 and dram voltage 1.65v.
Let me know if you need any further help.

Thanks for your reply ben,
I changed the information in the Bios to 1.65v, 8-9-8-24 ( 24 is on the info label on the ram so changed it to this ), works even better now, went away and bought another kit.
Thanks again, another problem solved, another customer happy .
