Unhappy Pyro SE low transfer problem

Hi! I got a transfer of 400mb/sec for my new Pyro SE 60GB.

According to the benchmarks it's supposed to be at 550mb/sec: http://www.tech-kings.net/home/index...s&limitstart=3

    My specs:http://speccy.piriform.com/results/d...KhAn14jcjWQrtC

My bios is up to date. The SDD is plugged in a SATA3 port with the proper cable. everything is configured in AHCI.

    Thanks for you help!

The 550mb/sec benchmarks are measured using Intel SATA3 ports, and the H61 chipset motherboards like yours don't have Intel SATA3 ports.

Therefore, the SATA3 ports on your motherboard are not able to expose the full speed of your SSD. According to the motherboard specs for your computer, the 2 SATA3 ports on your computer are provided by an Asmedia controller, not via the intel chipset controller.

    Is there any solutions?

You would need a new motherboard, which really doesn't make any sense as it would not yield a significant real world improvement.

    Hello,

What is the make and model of your motherboard? Can you please verify that it's running in AHCI?
