After a few hours, the device is inaccessible by FTP

Hi, I've a box like Patriot Gearbox as FTP server with USB sticks, mine it's a pluscom ftp server, but I've upgraded it with the same firmware as patriot with no problems.

I realized that sometimes, I loose all my users that should appear in this screen:

It's strange because it's no user, after rebooting all gets ok.
What can it be? Hardware or firmware bug?

Another thing it's that after 5hours on, it gets very slow, and cant access to all options, I've to try to reboot it too, it's possible to reboot remotly? with telnet or something else?

Could be that with an USB pen, it freeze? because if I disconnect the pen, my Nas works fine :S and fast, I've tried with two different USB pen sticks
