New PBO Alpine

Just noticed than the a new PBO is out and the reviews are very good.

Does anyone know if it is good enough for an existing PBO owner to upgrade?

I have purchase this unit and was a disappointed in the current level of firmware refinement. It needs to improve to bring it up to the level of the older PBO core 70R2 firmware funtionality. Not many Android apps work and it is very hit and miss finding one that works. See my latest thread regarding suggestions for improving the Patriot Alpine player.

Does anyone at Patriot have a time frame on the PBO Alpine going out to distributors other than the few Canadian shops that have it and Newegg? In particular, is there a date that Amazon is expected to carry it?
