Microsoft Live Disables network Access

I was wondering if there is any fix for Microsoft Live software disabling network access for the PBO. I remember a thread that helped me figure out that this was the cause of my issues a couple of years ago when I bought the PBO and at that time the answer was uninstall Live... which was fine as I do not usually use (or like) any of the Live software. I was trying to play a game which needs Microsoft Games - Live software, and guess what happened, I could no longer access my share via the PBO just as it had happened in the past.. I find the behaviour strange and have no idea why this happens, can anyone provide a workaround for this sisue - is it to change all the networking settings as I have seen elsewhere on these threads?
