    I have the exact same problem. Got my Javelin last week and I never got Itunes server to work. It just says loading. I upgraded to latest firmware. My bet is that there is a conflict with Itune 10.6 update and firefly.

    Hello,

    Yes we are looking into the support for this (AFP file sharing) and hope to have the fix rolled out in the next firmware update. Thank you for your patience.

    Apple intentionally broke support for firefly a while back. I am unsure if the DAAP project has worked around it yet...

    Was able to make it work on a Ipod touch with a free app called Simple DAAP client.

    But on windows, Itunes doesnt with with the Firefly Itunes server on the Javelin.

    @mcklain
    I tried the 2 mt-daapd on Optware, first one shows the songs but quickly takes you back to the default music folder in itunes (this is a known thing if you have itunes > 10.5, if its between 10.0 and 10.4 supposedly it works, but I dont have a lower version of itunes to test it)

    They also have a newer mt-daapd-svn but i havent been able to configure it properly, supposedly this version will work with itunes 10.5 and higher

    I have the same exact problem. Using iTunes 10.6.1.
    It just keeps loading without actually listing the music files.

    When I access the firefly web page control panel (http://xxx.xxx.x.xx:3689/), Bonjour service is stopped. Does it supposed to be running?
