Newb needs help

So can I just overwrite with the Acrbo firmware with out a problem? I see a euro and asian??? Is there anyway to know what exactly each firmware does?

Every firmware just overwrite the previous one; the best way to know what each does is to install them and try them out.

After weeks of reading , Finally tried to install Acrbo 7.3xr3582 first, And my screen is stuck and says "SORRY the update will only work on AC Ryan Playon hd"
And now it says "Can Not Boot from HDD" Remote will not power also. Thanks for any help.

Sounds like a bad flash to me. Are you able to access the menu to try to install the flash again??? If not can you connect to the PBO using telnet??? If so you could issue this command:

kill -6 1

To force a firmware flash; just make sure that a USB stick with a proper firmware is inserted in the PBO when you issue that command.

The pbo was stuck "Can Not Boot from HDD" . Not sure what telnet is? Got a link for me to read?
I since intalled beta P70R2 megapack and it is working now. Most of the feeds say "503 service unavailable" Not sure if I am missing something? Thank you.

I guess you still had enough access to be able to reflash the firmware hence no need to telnet. As far as the 503 service unavailble it only means that this feed is not available anymore or at the moment .... probably feeds from metafeeds which now seems to be a dead project and has not been available for many months now.
