Default Patriot Xporter XT Boost 8GB Flash Drive Model PEF8GUSB - Default Allocation Unit Siz

I have the model USB flash drive mentioned in the Title.

My question is, what is the default unit allocation size of this product? I had formatted for my Xbox 360 which automatically made it 16KB. I'm now wondering which Unit Size it arrived with?

Also.. after telling me what the default size is, can you also tell me if that is the optimal size recommended.. or if there is another? Thank you in advance

Also, I tested with a fresh format of 16KB Allocation Unit Size, copying 50 music files of about 10MB each with all of them being high-quality 320kbps bit-rate files. Adding to a total of 500MB. And it started writing at about 18MB/s and quickly slowed to about 13MB/s throughout the rest of the process. Does that seem liek the right performance for this flash drive?

Out of the box the unit should be set to default which will be set by the os when in use.
Here's a tool you can use to determine this...

For this drive those speeds are definitely within spec. It's not as fast as our Rage drives (up to 27MB/s), but generally you can expect anywhere from 7 to 13MB/s(+).
