Default Is it AM3 or AM3+; Phenom II 1055T processor?

    Hi everyone.

I am trying to choose a proper RAM bundle for my system and in the Asus manual (M5A99 Evo) it mentions two categories "sort to speak" of RAM.

I.E. > the first column mentions RAM for AM3+ processors, then; AM3 processors!

I have 4 sites going a once flipping back and forth and Wiki won't pinpoint it and Asus's chat...well, they don't seem to reply at all so I log off that, thus, I am looking for some help here.

I wonder would AM3+ supported RAM work for AM3? Gosh, two years later after my last rebuild and I never paid much attention to compatibility, guess I lucked out! LOL

Any help is appreciated and thank you all in advance.

    Hello,

    Please see here for compatibility:

For AMD DDR3 platforms, any of our Gamer Series A memory should work.
