Exclamation Patriot refurbished 120GB ssd which firmware?

Hi, my name is Anthony. I am picking up this refurbished patiriot SSD in the morning but i am not sure what firmware i should use to update this drive. I was thinking that the drive might be a refurbished Inferno since the only patriot SSD's i know of with a red casing are inferno's. Please let me know. Thanks.

Patriot 120GB 2.5in SATA II MLC SSD (Solid State Drive), Refurbished. Model: RF120GS25SSDR

here is a link to the drive i'm purchasing http://www.directron.com/rf120gs25ssdr.html

    Hello,

Yes, that more than likely is an Inferno drive. The latest firmware we have for the Inferno is 3.6.3.

Hi i just purchased this today. within 14 hours it blue screened on windows 7 x64 and now the bios won't recognize it nor will it boot. What do i do now? I bought the drive refurbished knowing that this might happen. But now i'm completely sad.

I let the computer go to sleep for about 45 minutes, then i brought it out of sleep and entered my windows 7 password, after that the blue screen popped up and now the drive won't be recognized by any bios/motherboard. I was using it normally and it worked fantastic until this happened. How do i fix this?

Based on what you're describing, we would recommend a replacement under warranty. To Initiate an RMA or items relating to warranty, please visit this link here and under ‘troubleshooting’ select your product from the dropdown box and fill out the info (look at the bottom for ‘start a technical case’):
    http://www.patriotmemory.com/support/techSupportp.jsp

(This link will get your name and contact info into our Support/RMA Portal database. You will then be given a user id and password where you can make replies to your Support/RMA case. Please make a note that you already spoke to a rep regarding your issue. Furthermore afterwards, feel free to login to reply or simply await for the case to be escalated to RMA with further instructions. To escalate the case to rma, please indicate that you’ve spoken to a rep already).

I no longer have the drive. The item was returned to the vendor. Sorely disappointed after years of trust that was placed on Patriot products. I'm not very sure how my trust with your SSD product line can be reestablished. On the sunnier side of things the drive was wonderfully fast while it worked.
