Maybe, but the Go Flex is a Seagate drive... the warranty is less (2 years for external encolsure, 1 year for internal drives). I'd stick with Hitachi and their 3 years warranty... Plus the Seagate drive is probably not a "green" drive which means it heats more in an enclosure.
