Exclamation What sort of memory do I need?

    Hi,

I'm totally new to Patriot products and need some advice on what sort of memory storage system would be best for me.

I'm on a Mac and desire to store documents, pictures and iTunes music files primarily. 64GB would be adequate.

I was thinking to get the Patriot Xporter flash drive. But then I hear about SSD, which is better. Or would that be overkill for me?

I had a Western Passport External hard drive which died on me after 3 years, thus erasing thousands of pages of docs and hundreds of songs.

I'd like something that's guaranteed to last at least longer than 3 years.

    Thanks much!

    Hello,

Are you looking for a mounted fixed drive such as an ssd or a removable drive like flash usb? I would go the ssd route if you are planning to boot your os from it, but if this is simply for secondary storage or removable, any of our flash drives (Xporter, Rage etc) should suffice.
