Device not showing up - Patriot Torqx 2 32GB SSD

I have purchased the Patriot Torqx 2 32GB SSD And it is not showing in the My Computer folder.

I entered the bios, it is registering in there so I knew the the device was working.
I went into the device manager in windows, and it is also registered there to, except it is under the disk drive tab. I'm not sure if that's how it is supposed to be or not. But that could be causing the issue. I went into the properties of the device and looked for any support there. Couldn't find any. The only thing I could think of was to check for updates on the driver, just to find that it is up to date. I'm not sure what to do.
It seems as though windows knows its there. But it is inaccessible.

try cmd, "diskpart" then "list disk", then "select disk (whichever # the disk is)" then "clean" thats what worked when my pyro wouldn't show up when i tried to format/partition for win7.

Doing "diskpart" is a good recommendation, please try that and let us know the results. Also make sure you initialize the drive as well.

Can you give me the make and model of your motherboard?
