I recently 'upgraded' my NAS storage to the Javelin S4 (It truly is an upgrade, I love the S4's speed and quality vs. my old one.)

The one problem I have now, however, is that the S4 requires access restrictions on every folder, which permissions given by group or username. My old NAS allowed me to turn off access restriction to individual folders/shares. I used that to make my 2TB video library available to devices like the Windows Media Center Extender. With the S4, the extender does not see any of the shared folders because there is no way to configure a name/password login!

Is there any way to turn off access restriction control on a single folder? (Not the whole unit, I still want password access to all other folders!).
