You will need to speak with the retailer at where you purchased it from. All I can do here is best troubleshoot the issues with you and find a solution. If you can try what pocketwatches suggested that is also a solution.

Also double check all your drivers, BIOS udpates, Windows updates and see if that can improve performance.

    That stinks,
Anyway you could move one of your pcie cards to maybe usb? From the review i have seen the marvel controller are a joke. They're faster than the older sata2 but nothing like they should be. Over all your drive/controller setup should work out well. You still have great read speed and seek times. Your drive should feel faster than any standard spin drive. Your write speeds are off from the top of the line controllers but are still as fast or faster than sata2. How offer to you sit and wait at your pc due to write bandwidth? For me its not very offen. I dont think i would even spend 20 bucks to decrease time installing a game by "seconds" On the other hand, the items you load everyday like your apps and os should be loading faster. If you dont feel this i would return the drive too.

http://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/s...gb_sata2_ssd/4 Compare your speeds to a sata2 drive.

Did all of that, got the newest drivers and latest firmware updated everything and still the performance is the same. I purchased this drive from newegg.com and apparently it was with a return only policy.

If you do feel like the product does not perform to what you expect you will need to work with the retailer as I can assist you in that matter but the performance that you are experiencing is what you should be getting with your setup.

I understand and you do understand it is because of your sata controller is limiting you on the performance? You can try to speak with Newegg customer service on the phone and see if they will work with you.

You are using a slower drive then compared to 120-240GB Wildfire which we tested on EVGA X58 Classified which only produced 250-300mb/s write and read.

Yes of course on sata III ports. Let me see if I can get the board again and I will set it up and run benchmarks for you.
