    Default Slow Speeds 60GB Pyro

Just got my new 60GB Pyro using 3.2FW and updated marvel controller Firmware Version 1.0.0.1701 The drive is brand new and the speed is terribly slow. Here's a screenshot of atto benchmark. What's wrong? I have incredibly fast performance on my other SSD.

I'm pretty sure that is to be expected with a marvell controller. Similar speeds as me and I believe I have the same marvell chip. I have a 120gb wildfire just fyi so it may have a difference but mine should be faster anyway.

I am sorry but the attached image is really small. I cannot see the results of the test. Can you give me detailed information about your system, make and model of your motherboard or computer, OS, drivers?

Thank you for that information. The performance is about what you are seeing, you can try these drivers and see if you can get any more improvement.

A bit of an increase but no where near where they should be, here's a screenshot.

The performance of the drives you are getting it due to the Marvell controller on your X58 motherboard and has nothing to do with the drive itself. If you go try the drive on another motherboard running Z68 chipset, you will see the performance of the drive.

How does the Asmedia ASM1061 controller work with these drives? Can he just pop in a 22 dollar newegg sata3 pcie controller?
