PBO & OSX Lion

Hello all! I know there have been similar questions asked, but does anyone know how to get the PBO to function with Lion? It worked so well with Snow Leopard. Now when I go to "Net" and select "Workgroups" and my Mac Pro is in the list as "new-host-2" but when I select it, it pops up and asks for a net name and password. I have tried every possible combination of usernames and passwords associated with my mac to no avail.

In Snow Leopard I would navigate to my computer the same way and it was called the same thing (new-host-2), but it never asked me for login information.

Any help would be much appreciated! I miss my PBO!

I know that Lion is pretty new, and that the Mac user base here is pretty small, but someone must have some idea on this. I have 2 tb of videos on HDDs in my mac that are pretty much useless now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The device "venus" is even showing up in the sidebar.

I'm having the same problem. Previously in Snow Leopard I had no problem accessing my Macbook from the PBO. Since upgrading a few other things have changed and I'm not sure if there related. I recently installed a wireless dongle and the network is open with no security. As indicated in the thread title I am now running Lion. In a hail mary fix, I updated the Bios which didn't do much for the connectivity, although it gave me a nicer looking GUI.

I can logon to the Mac and I can see the folder names, but I can't access them. When I attempt to access a specific folder it asks for a username and password again. I use the same information as logging into the computer and it says "Logon Fail".

Im just not sure where to go from here... Any suggestions.
