    Default leaving PBO on pause

    hi,

do you people leave your PBO on pause for extended time- ie even over night? If so, any issues with doing this?

I find it much easier to go back to what i was viewing by leaving it on pause. Not only do I not have to navigate through the folder trees, but it stays connected to my network so I don't have to wait for it to re-connect. But I notice the unit is quite warm when running, so i don't know if it's a problem to leave it on pause for extended time. Also, not sure if the power it draws is significant or not while on pause.

Too bad it didn't simply have a sleep mode.

Just curious what you guys do and what you might suggest.

You can do so, but you are putting hours on your box and certainly eating from its life.
If you need to cut down on your navigation you might want to setup share shortcuts
[*]Still new..? check the wiki. [*]Your shares gone for no reason ? Create a machine shortcut. [*]Trashing the G-adapter? upgrade cheaply to N. [*]Getting the hang of it? get organized .. add share shortcuts. [*]Getting sick of it ? it never hurts to rant here [*]Wishing for the time machine? give your PBO a makeover. [*]Bricked it while doing so ? unbrick it for $5[*]Not into cross flashing? keep it semi-official [*]Too lazy to read all that ? you asked for it.[*] Thank U PBO
