Thank again but OMG, ok let me explain what happened,
Firts at all I'm new in this let's say start Zero.
I've telnet, root, and put the fir command line, it show connecting, inflating, 100% done, or something like that, everything was OK.
Them I've try to add the lines to my menu.rss, no idea how to do it, somebody told me,do this:
# cd /usr/local/bin/scripts
# mount –o remount,rw /
# vi menu.rss

Use down arrows to search for “fav_username”, replace “username” with your metafeeds username using the following commands.

Command Explanation
i (insert) start at the position of the cursor
a (after) start at the position following that of the cursor
x delete current character
dw (delete word) delete from current character through end of current "word" including trailing blank(s)
r replace current character with next character typed. For example, if the cursor is at the "h" of the when the user types ri, "h" is replaced by "i" so that the word becomes tie.
esc to exit edit mode
Enter ZZ to save and exit.
# mount –o remount,ro /
# exit

tried to imput some values, after that my menu.rss goes like empty, I've close the window, and went to see the patriot box, reboot the PBO and got a black screen, unplugged, start over and reinstall the semi official again.

So I'm lost in the second step, by the way is there any youtube video for dummies like me where I can see in my windows telnet , etc, etc, etc, etc

You definitely seems to have the right idea; just remember that one mistake in the menu.rss can cause the whole thing to crash your PBO once you try to access it so make sure you do not make any mistakes. By the way I am not sure with the ZZ command; to exit file and save you should use the following command without the quotes: "wq!" ---> that will save and exit. To tell you the truth to add all the stuff required it's probably easier to copy the menu.rss to a USB Stick and use a plain editor (notepad +) on windows (Do not use notepad it will corrupt your file); then copy that file back where is belong. Here's the needed commands:

cp /usr/local/bin/scripts/menu.rss /tmp/usbmounts/sda1/

Remove USB stick take to computer and edit the menu.rss then reinsert stick in the PBO.

mount -o remount,rw /
cp /tmp/usbmounts/sda1/menu.rss /usr/local/bin/scripts/menu.rss
mount -o remount,ro /

If all that still proves too difficult just let me know exactly which firmware you have (P70R2 (BCN)) or (P70R2 (BCN) Megapack) and I will create a new menu.rss for you with a script on my Dropbox so that you can replace the menu.rss as easily as it was to install the required music Jukebox files.....

It will be something like:

cd /tmp && wget www......... you get the idea.

Hello, not sure if I can do it, I've think that this is good for you guys the experts, so I've tried to do it, and I don't know the box get black, only in 480 video mode, I've set to 1080P, turn off and go back to 480, anyway I reinstall the firmware P70R2, semi official, and now is working good again, buddy I don't wanna break my box, I've trust you. please advise, and apologise for bugging you.
