My Mouse not working on New steelseries QcK Mini Pad!! why??

ok, I buy this Stupid Mouse Pad, steelseries QcK Mini, only got small desk!, to replace my old Mouse Mat I got free on a magazine cover, lol, now my Mouse is gone all crazy and works like rubbish, my Mouse works better on my Desk surface without any mat/pad. All the reviews are bang on 100% for this Pad, so typical it doesn't work for me, just so typical. I tried changing the Mouse settings in my O/S and in my Mouse Suite but this did nothing. Can't think of anything other than it is just my Mouse that is not compatible with the new Pad. It says the Pad works with Ball, Optical and Laser Mouse's, mine is a Laser type. If anyone reading this has any suggestions as what is causing this then please fire away, I guess it is most likely my Mouse is not compatible with this Pad, my Mouse is fine off the pad, but it didn't say it would not work with certain Mouse's like the one I just happen to have!. I suppose I have to buy a new Mouse now just to use this new Pad!.


I just had a thought, my Mouse is a wireless USB type!, most Gamers use Corded Mouse's, perhaps my wireless USB type is not meant to be used on these Pads or might not work to well on these type of Mouse Pads.

I purchased a new mouse a few week ago, a Logitech MX518 corded, and it works fine on my mouse pad. So it must have been because of the USB type mouse I was using.
