I just purchased the Patriot Viper Xtreme Division 2 (I think it needs a longer name!) 8GB (2x4GB) PXD38G1866ELK and wanted to know if this set will run 1t? Or will I need to run 2t?

Also, if I downclock the speed from 1866Mhz to 1600Mhz, will I be able to tighten my timings from the stock 9-11-9-27 to 8-9-8-24?

My last q for this post -- (yeah, I know...I'm such a newb!) I know that the packaging says it's been tested to work the Series 6 Intel Chips (i.e.: Sandy Bridge) but will this work with say AMD's Thuban series (e.g.: 1090T or 1100T)?

Been researching this set of RAM but have a lot of questions that I couldn't find answers for (like what IC's are used -- Patriot simply states that they're "pre-sorted"???) so I am hoping that my questions will be answered here.
