probably I wasn't sharp enough in my guestion. Yes, there are no probs to make a lot of mount points to NAS. But I'd like to have ability to choose the movies on my NAS trough Jukebox nenu, with thumbnails(not going through folders in deep). Actually it's more attractive and easy for the kids, and...wife

Well assuming that you use the same mount point on both of the PBO ex: both set to /usr/local/etc/NAS/ then I assume that you could probably just copy the /usr/local/etc/srjg from one PBO to the other. As long as you do not add any more genre that should work fine since the jukebox.xml are external to the PBO. As soon as you add a new genre however the /usr/local/etc/srjg/mainjukebox.xml file will be changed and need to be copy back to the PBO that the Jukebox_update.sh was not run. For normal update without the -i option the changes should be reflected on both PBO since the jukebox.xml files are on your NAS.

This is just a theory I have not tried that but I can think of a reason why it would not work.

That trick works ! I had copied /usr/local/etc/srjg/mainjukebox.xml file from one PBO to another one and I've got an access to my NAS from both PBO players through Jukebox Main menu simultaneously. Thanks Snappy for your support . It was very helpfull as usually.

If I have two folders "Movies" and "KidsMovies" and I would like to add both into the Jukebox as separate icons. What needs to be done? Do I change Jukebox.rss or MainJukebox.rss? What's the difference between them?

Just put a genre.jpg in each directory and use the -i option and the jukebox script will handle the rest. Just use the directory above the two directories to update the jukebox; I am assuming here that they share the same parent directory even if it' just the same disk ex: /tmp/usbmounts/sdb1 or /tmp/hdd/volumes/HDD1. Here's what I would do; I'll pretend that my movies are on Ext USB Drive:

/tmp/usbmounts/sdb1/genre.jpg (All movies)
/tmp/usbmounts/sdb1/Movies/genre.jpg
/tmp/usbmounts/sdb1/KidsMovies/genre.jpg

Then I would update using the following:

cd /usr/local/etc/srjg
./jukebox_update.sh -i -p /tmp/usbmounts/sdb1/

This would create a Mainjukebox.xml with three entries (All movies, movies, Kidmovies) to be used by MainJukebox.rss. And will create three jukebox.xml in each respective directory. MainJukebox.rss will then launch Jukebox.rss with the proper jukebox.xml associated with whatever selection you made. Your menu.rss should point to MainJukebox.rss not Jukebox.rss.

Yes, they are on the same disk under the root directory.
