Formating 2 2TB drives as separate drives

Hi I'm new to the forum. I formatted each of my 2tb drives in ext2. They both appear as separate drives and I have mapped them separately. OK. When I transfer file to one drive it's mirrored on the other even though I haven't used any raid options. I think I must have done something dumb.

I have same issue. I found files are mirrored on both HD but I did not use any raid options too. Now I have another problem, when I created a new folder in HD A, I got access denied to whole HD B.
Any solution?
