Warranty duration Xporter Rage

Hi,

I recently bought an Xporter Rage 16GB and now I am wondering what is the warranty period?

In "Warranty Terms and Conditions" it is said:

All Patriot Memory Extreme Performance Secure Digital (SD) and Extreme Performance USB Flash products are offered with a limited lifetime warranty.

On the product page of the Xporter Rage series, this is confirmed at first...

The Patriot Xporter Rage is available in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities and carries a lifetime warranty.

But then, on the same page, below:

# 5-Year Warranty

Clicking on the "Specs"-link for the 16GB version, the next page gives me

The Patriot Xporter Rage is available in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities and carries a 2 year warranty

Please enighten me about the correct warranty duration.

Also, when submitting an RMA as end-user, does Patriot have an RMA-center within the EU or do defective products have to be shipped to USA or Asia?

Hello,

If purchased after 1/31/11, the warranty has been changed to 5 years.

We do have an office in the Netherlands. You would therefore ship and receive to and from this location.
