use for upgrade. It currently reads:

You have firmware P02 which is quite old and bootcode 18.
With bootcode 18 you can update to any firmware you wish. If all your hardware connected to your PBO work fine then there is no need to update your bootcode. Also to update bootcode you need a special cable or you need to ship your PBO to PM for update.
I definitely recommend that you upgrade your firmware to the latest official PM firmware or any of the aasoror's (see his signature block) custom pack firmware.
Enjoy your PBO.
Cheers !!!
But, I try to upgrade to the latest firmware. The result is fail. I can see "Installation Complete" and PBO restart. Then, the screen continuesly shows "BOX Office" and can't boot to "Main Menu". So, I refresh to the original B02 firmware. Also, I try to upgrade to P05 but it's the same result. Therefore, I post this for asking which version I can upgrade.
Thanks!
Screen continously showing the "BOX Office" logo implies that your firmware was not successfully installed or incompatible which = bricked PBO in a lot of cases.
I am curious how you manage to reflash without having access to the screen menu ???? Did you use one of the recovery procedure found on this forum???
Anyhow something definitely wrong here you should be able to flash and run any firmware available on this forum with bootcode 18.
When you update from P02 to P05 or higher firmware, it needs to go through 2 flashing cycles. Do not turn off the box or remove the thumb drive until it finished both flashing steps and returned to setup menu. It will reboot a total of 3 times and see the "installation complete" message twice. Just be patience when it shows "Box Office" or "Cannot Boot from HDD. It will continue the process in 5-10 sec.

You may also want to try removing the HDD, HDMI, and ethernet. My older box will not flash until everything is disconnected.
