    Default firmware / bootcode version from telnet

    is there a way to know the firmware / bootcode from a telnet (putty) session ??

    or i have to hook to TV and do the STOP-Pause trick??

    Im new to this and trying to figure out all firmware / Mods ... he he

    Yeah its listed in one of the files in /proc go look around and you'll find the info.....can't remember which one it is.....just use more command to see the file and q to quit out of the text display.

    You can issue the following command:
    Code:
    cat /sys/realtek_boards/bootloader_version
    But I think you have posted in the wrong topic.

    well i need to install my ralink 2571 usb wireless adapter but i have a access denied too!! instead of getting the PBO to the TV rooms i wanted a shoortway to know what version it is first..
