Default Help Needed. Some MKV files not showing up through NET

I connect to my PC through NET, and I have many MKV files in the shared folders. However some MKV files just don't show up in the folders, while some could show up and play. It seems not restricted to whether the video is 720P or 1080P. I compared the MediaInfo of the missing MKVs and the ones that play OK, but I couldn't see why. The PBO is using the latest firmware P61.

I post the two MediaInfos below, and PLEASE HELP me find the reasons and what I need to do to fix it. THANK YOU A LOT.

Here is the MediaInfo for the file that does NOT show up through NET.

First double check the sharing settings on your windows machine make sure they two (the ones that play and those that dont) are shared similarly.

Next someone reported earlier today that enabling SAMBA/BT (PBO setup->Network) showed his otherwise invisible MKVs over the network.

    Best of luck,
[*]Still new..? check the wiki. [*]Your shares gone for no reason ? Create a machine shortcut. [*]Trashing the G-adapter? upgrade cheaply to N. [*]Getting the hang of it? get organized .. add share shortcuts. [*]Getting sick of it ? it never hurts to rant here [*]Wishing for the time machine? give your PBO a makeover. [*]Bricked it while doing so ? unbrick it for $5[*]Not into cross flashing? keep it semi-official [*]Too lazy to read all that ? you asked for it.[*] Thank U PBO

Wow, thank you so much for the tips!! I reset the folders/subfolders permissions, and the "invisible" MKV files are now accessible and playable in my PBO. Why didn't I think of this problem in the first place? I guess the permissions were screwed up by some other programs.

    Thanks again.
