Question Is there a way to rename the PBO on the network?

I'm wondering if there is a way to rename the PBO on the network. It seems it's defaulting as 'Venus' not sure where this came from, but have been using that s the machine name for this device.

I recently bought a second one for another TV. My concern now is that if i turn both of the units on at the same time, its going to cause a network conflict because they are both called the same thing. Is there a way to rename one of the units to something else?

    Sure yes, read here.

    Be warned that :
    - depending on the version of your firmware the location of the files might have been changed.
    - depending on the bootcode of the your firmware (not the bootcode of your box) the two files mentioned might not be editable.
[*]Still new..? check the wiki. [*]Your shares gone for no reason ? Create a machine shortcut. [*]Trashing the G-adapter? upgrade cheaply to N. [*]Getting the hang of it? get organized .. add share shortcuts. [*]Getting sick of it ? it never hurts to rant here [*]Wishing for the time machine? give your PBO a makeover. [*]Bricked it while doing so ? unbrick it for $5[*]Not into cross flashing? keep it semi-official [*]Too lazy to read all that ? you asked for it.[*] Thank U PBO
